Focused on our Corporate Governence and Funding activities, Simon brings a
wealth of business and financial acumen for the benefit of our clients.

Since March 2002, Mr. Westbrook has served as founder and CEO of
MessageSoft, a software company designing and marketing messaging products
to enhance the security, quality, and productivity of email and wireless
communications. With over 30 years of experience in finance and international
business development, Mr Westbrook has also been providing consulting and
advisory services to a number of start-up and developing businesses in the Bay
Area, including semiconductor, software, and wireless communications.

From March 1997 to February 2002, Mr. Westbrook served as the CFO of Sage
Inc, a fabless semiconductor company designing and marketing high
performance video and display processing ICs for the flat panel monitor and
digital TV markets. He successfully completed five rounds of private funding,
an IPO in November 1999, the acquisition of Faroudja Labs, another public
company in June 2000, and an M&A exit to merge with Genesis Microchip in
February 2002, thus creating an undisputed industry leader. Previous
responsibilities included CFO at Virtual I-O, and other senior financial roles at
Creative Labs and Atari Corporation where he was involved in the IPOs of both
companies. Mr. Westbrook is a chartered accountant, serving five years in the
London office of Arthur Andersen.

Education:
Mr Westbrook recently served as a Board Member of the Silicon Valley Chapter
of Financial Executives Institute, and is currently an advisory board Member to
Silicon Monitor Inc and Siprino Inc.. Mr. Westbrook has an MA degree in
Economics from Trinity College, Cambridge, the UK’s leading university.
